In the context of the Liberal Arts and Sciences study program at University College Freiburg, the Chair for Epistemology and Theory of Science is offering the following jobs:

Academic Assistants / Tutors (HiWi) for the course "Introducing Science"
Part-time position (30 Monatsstunden), Start-date: At the earliest possible date.

You will assist PD Dr. Oliver Schlaudt in the following areas:

  • Teaching (mainly tutorial groups)
  • Exercise sheet and exam corrections
  • Supervising and advising students
  • Administrative tasks

Prerequisites:

  • Interest in science studies
  • A minimum of 4 semesters bachelor program experience
  • Excellent command of English
  • Very good self-organization
